The brutally hot 2020 summer here in Arizona forced both my AC units and me to beg for a break. I don’t know about you, but I am ready to finally kick summer to the curb and look to higher (and cooler) ground. Here are four of my favorite ski season resorts.
If you haven’t started yet, now is the time to start planning your ski vacation. Ski resorts are expecting high demand this season and many will be operating with restricted capacity.
Whether you’re in search of a romantic winter honeymoon, a fun family reward for getting through yet another round of on-line learning, or a group of friends seeking an adventure that allows you to reconnect in person, a ski experience is the (lift) ticket to an exhilarating and fun-filled vacation. Isn’t it time to start making some fun memories in 2020 or start planning them for 2021?
Here are several of my favorites that focus on luxury and tick all the boxes that may be important to you such as: travel by car or plane, flexible cancellation policies, amazing Virtuoso amenities, activities to please everyone in your party, and private lodging options that promote social distancing.

Robert Redford’s Sundance Mountain Resort has 110 cottages and offers easy access to downhill skiing, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing. The amazing cuisine and spa contribute to the diverse amenities of this quiet mountain village and resort. The resort has gorgeous mountain homes accommodating up to 16 guests. Fun fact: Sundance’s trained avalanche dogs help the ski patrol locate avalanche victims buried in the snow.
