Top Three Resorts in Arizona

The world is our oyster.  Travel helps us to find our “pearls” in this beautiful world – and we have amazing places to explore here in Arizona.  The top three resorts in Arizona are our pearls to explore locally.

Now, most of the world is on lock down.  Countries are closed for business.  Borders can’t be crossed.  Airlines are cutting and grounding flights.  Cruise lines are suspending operations for six to eight weeks.  Schools are closed.  Hotels and restaurants are closed. We are being asked or required to shelter in place.

So, what can we do?

Go local.  Get creative.  Consider exploring the wide open spaces in our own back yard.  Travel takes us on a path to learn more about our own city, state and region. We have amazing hiking trails, national parks and regional areas to explore here in Arizona.

I’m highlighting three amazing areas of State 48 with a primary focus on hotels and resorts that highlight the our state’s regional diversity while providing a luxury experience.

Sedona

Enchantment and Mii Amo Sedona

With the dramatic red rocks of Boynton Canyon in Sedona as the stage, Enchantment Resort sets the tone for an unforgettable experience.  First inhabited over 3000 years ago, historians believe cliff dwellings in Boynton Canyon were created by the Sinagua Indians about 900 A.D. The resort is focused on sustaining its precious environment in many ways including partnerships with both the National Forest Service and local Native American tribes.

Recognized by Travel + Leisure Magazine as one of the Top 10 Destination Spas in the world, Mii amo continues to build a reputation of distinction. Guests of Enchantment Resort have access to Mii amo for treatments specializing in well-being of body, mind, and spirit.

Scottsdale

Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North

Located in the high Sonoran Desert near Pinnacle Peak (in the far reaches of North Scottsdale), you will find the beautiful Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale. Its authentic western lore, cosmopolitan culture, awe-inspiring beauty, spectacular golf, world class dining, and achingly beautiful desert landscapes are all rolled into an amazing travel experience. It enthralls you with its desert setting, yet you are minutes away from the cosmopolitan delights that Scottsdale has to offer.

From your patio or balcony, take in panoramic views of Phoenix, Pinnacle Peak, incredible rock formations, and 40 acres of vibrant desert blooms.

Tucson

Miraval Arizona Resort and Spa

Tucked into the Santa Catalina Mountains in northern Tucson, Miraval is an all-inclusive resort focused on the health and well-being of its guests.  Lauded as one the world’s top destination spas by Travel & Leisure, Condé Nast Traveler, and SpaFinder, it’s the perfect destination to enjoy its desert environment as well as focus on physical and emotional wellness.

Offering an array of dynamic growth and development programs, one-of-a-kind, luxurious spa treatments, authentic, flavorful and healthful cuisine as well as an expert staff of renowned well being specialists, Miraval helps to open eyes, minds and hearts.

Travel is always in season.  The rest of the world may be temporarily closed, so stay close to home and explore all that State 48 has to offer.  When you’re ready to explore, I’ll be here to help you plan!  Just reach out with a call to 602-692-9379, email to [email protected], or click here.
